Scotchbright is constructed like wool. It has fibers saturated by abrasive particle with calibrated size. This fibers are important when you need to grind "wavy" corrugated surface. Level of their sharp is from value P80 to P400-500 mostly.
Choose right coarse of wheel for nearest relevant value for your surface. Important information is that every next step forward in grinding and polishing have to establish step before. If you are not sure about it, you can use simple rule. Every grinding and polishing phase is prepairing for next level of surface upgrade surface without leave unwanted scrathces. If you need to take mirror shining efect you need to take more levels of grinding and polishing to remove diferent deep of scratches. This is important before chrome layer too.
